KC Aerobatic IMAC Challenge – 2024

Welcome to the 2023 Clovis Area Modelers

Practice and Prepare to Compete

“Kings Canyon IMAC Aerobatic Challenge”

(September 27 – 29, 2024)

Welcome to the Clovis Area Modelers – Kings Canyon IMAC Challenge. This event is open to all AMA & IMAC registered RC pilots. For those that haven’t flown in aerobatic competition, this is also an opportunity to learn about the Clovis Area Modelers (ClovisRC) and also the International Miniature Aerobatic Club (IMAC) and “What is Scale Aerobatics?”

This is a great opportunity for RC Pilots to learn how to control all the facets of their radio controlled aircraft. So, please accept Clovis Area Modelers invitation to come out and compete, learn to compete, or see what this is all about.

THE FIELD VENUE and CAMPING and DIRECTIONS

Peg field has a re-surfaced 700’ x 50’ centered area over a 3,000’ runway.  The sun is at your back as the pits face north.  The field has adequate room for RV/Trailer parking and overnight camping (dry camping only).

The Pit/Shade is 120’ wide by 26’ deep; with, 20’ wide bays for easy large aircraft access.  There is a 120’x15’ Tarmac in front of the Pit; with, two (2) 65’x15’ concrete ramps to the runway.  Each bay is equipped with Generator/Solar 110VAC power for lighting and flight pack charging.
